Earning Money Online : It's a Original Business-- Don't Duplicate Your Content Anywhere or with Anything (Ex. Spinners)
70Making Money Fast With Blogs and Hubs
You want to make money. You want to earn money fast from your blogs and websitesand you need that business and traffic like right now. What is the easiest way to do this? Do you link to a million sites and try to get traffic?
What else can help you make money? In this case original content. Valuable links. Also, deleting like about all of your hubs in this questioner's case. I know I am being harsh but face it, that is what flagging hubs is for. Not many people will get that "gold" hub all the time, but at the same time, effort and more effort will be rewarded with some thing called money.
In this case hubpages is a business and we all want to earn money... still plagiarizing (called stealing) content from elsewhere will lower your hub score. Or having few fans and about a million hubs. This is also bad.. so how do you earn money?
Publishing Online Is A Type of Self-Publishing
Take a good look at your hubs: Now this is where you need to be mean, at least to your hubs, ask yourself these five questions. Think as both an Internet marketer but also as a self-publisher.
1) Is there anything in this hub that people really need? (If no, then this is one you should consider either deleting or not publishing. This is a business to earn money, does that help you do this? Does it help others build their business?)
2) What sort of things will improve this hub? Does it need more links? Does it need more content? Did I spell check it? Are the facts correct?
3) Did I at least make any attempt to re-read it a few times? Did I try to edit it a bit? Does it sound okay to my ear?
4) Are the links I use not only mine but fellow hub writers who I have read and enjoyed? Are they worth it or are they there to "build" something for me?
5) Can this content be found in many different places? Did I try to make a good hub for others or to earn money? What was my goal with this hub?
Asked yourself those questions: If you answered them honestly you will know when you will need to publish that hub.. or look for flags on that hub. So, now it is time to publish... Now what sort of things does a good hub have?
1) Text: As in good content, again a hub is not a blog, and it isn't something you "build up" so don't do that, you will NOT make money that way.
2) Links: In a capsule or in the text, I prefer to have it in capsules, as more people "see" it.
3) Photos and Videos: These are simple, however, be advised with photos I prefer to use stock photos over again and make the caption more important, it cuts down on "borrowing"
4) Polls and Quizzes and Comment Areas: Yes even on parts where you need to defend yourself, you NEED to put these in. I can not tell you how many times some one will write some thing "controversial" and take out the comment box. If you can not leave the comment box in, the hub should not be published.
So, how does this earn you money? How does this help your business? Because in my mind if you took the time to build this mini-website and want to have people stay (which increases the chance that they will do something like buy a product or click on an ad) you will at some point build up links and earn the money you want.
Publishing that Hub
So Now you've published... it looks good and what are the things you need to do to promote this work?
Add incoming links. This incoming links will build you traffic and help you earn money. Now, go to the basic links that hubpages provides: Stumble Upon, Digg, and Reddit. Use them, and also use them for other hubs. At the same time look for ways to encourage others to link to your hubs. If you have done correct keyword research, and have spend a few hours tweaking your hubs you should not have a problem with getting organic links.
Organic links are the links that people create for you. While you need a foundation you will also need to think of your search engine optimization for each of your hubs. This might take a while but take all the time you need to create your fine hub.
Comment on other hubs, intelligently and use their links to look at their work. The more you take the time to read and comment the more likely it is that you will be noticed. This is an indirect way to earn money.
Check your keyword, as Google wants good keywords. Use Google-- both AdWords and AdSense to your advantage and learn about keywords and what you can do to build you hub.
So what is the most important thing to know about earning money? This is a business and quality counts in all areas, in writing content, in keywords, in traffic and in links. You need to build up your hubs and encourage others to link to them.
You also need to understand that some hubs are basically made of gold. Some are not. If you get a few gold hubs, then that is what you are looking for. Do not ask people to social bookmark for you but be grateful when they do. You can make hubs which are gold, but often it is a lot easier not to do this.
Tell them that you are using Stumble Upon and that they can see that you have put their hub on to your List of Favorites. People see effort. People will help those who also help them. This also helps with Google AdSense, as the more "great links" you have the better the search engine likes you.
I Earn More Money With
See results without votingThe Last Word-- Everything connects around you hubs, your links, your traffic, your personal score, all your hubs combined.
So, I look at my hubs as little bits of gold. This is a business, and even my hubs deserve the "gold treatment." I am constantly learning how to improve and how to be more passionate and more helpful.
So, if you want to earn money, try the things on that list, and see if your hub score does improve, otherwise delete the low scoring hubs.
To your golden success.

Hi Rebecca,
Another great hub of yours to bookmark.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Take care
Eiddwen.
Yes your article is very interesting
Thank you Rebecca. Am new to Hubpages. It's been really informative. Especially the bullets (questions) you gotta ask yourself.
Thanks and regards,
Abdul Kadir
Your hub has great content. It's nice to find so much in one spot. I'm new to this too so I am still adding and learnig all I need to do. Thanks!! Keep up the good work and good luck. Hope we both can make a few dollars.
In the end it come down to do you want to make money from your Hub, or what other reasons are you hubbing for?
Do you want status?
Do you want crediblity?
Do you want to be percieved as something?
Are you looking for respect.
Or are you in the business of making money?
Myself, I like to make money and help others on my journey!

Nice hub and loads of information! Thank you.
Great tips Rebecca. Another little nugget for my brain to process.
I am writing for the search engines, not for hubpages. Even my worst performing hubs bring in some traffic, plus I use those hubs to increase my HubKarma. Why do I need to delete them?
I confess I'm not good at the interaction part. Networking with intelligent comments is very good advice thank you.
Great Hub, you pointed out the most important thing: just publishing a ton of Hubs will not make you money. It takes work to make money outside of the web and it takes work inside of the web to really make money. The people who became rich quick off of the web were the originators, that time has passed. You can still make money, you just have to invest the time and effort.
Excellent tips, thanks.
Hello Rebecca E., Thank you for your tips to earn money online.
when least looking for information... it jumps out and hits ya right in the eyeballs.. i found this very helpful, and inspiring. ty :)
very helpful thankyou
Like the video about linking. Very useful information all round. As you quite rightly point out though quality content is the first and most important step as it is no good linking hubs which are of little merit.
very useful
Thanks for this hub Rebecca, I will find it very useful as I'm only starting out with Hubpages.
I agree with the emphasis that what really matters is original quality content.
As always, Rebecca E, you provide solid advice for building a viable online income.
This was so helpful for me to find best thing about how write the hub and surely people read it. this is so brilliant..!!!
This was so helpful for me, because I just joind hubpages today. I uped you and put you as useful, since you really were. There are a lot of words I do not understand still since this is my first day. I wish you would write a post about what all the different terms mean. Thanks again
Caitlin :)
I really like your hub.this is the best information.I praise to you for this treasure of knowledge.
Very informative and exactly what I was looking for
I’m a HubPage newbie and this article is excellent and creative. I look forward to reading more of your hubs Rebecca.
Very informative and helpful!I will try to follow your advice.
Thanks Rebecca!
Great topic. This is a very well written hub, as all of your hubs are. This information will be helpful to many people, myself included. Voted up and awesome!
I am a hub virgin and new here. Can't think of a better article to have luckily 'stumbled upon' for my first read. Thanks for the great advice and inspiration!
Good post - is there really any reason to delete bad hubs, though?
great hub
great Hub, i agree you have to be original in your writing. It takes more time but pays of in the end.
This hub is really useful. Probably I would just apply some secret formula for my own hub to make it profitable! I would really want to earn money from it. Thanks again!
Impressive! this is definitely what i want to see. I can see that if we can master and implement these techniques right, then we are in no doubt will succeed. I would suggest anyone to re-read this hub as many times as possible as that it is as valuable as gold. I'm serious about this.
What a super hub. This hub motivate me to sit down and really challenge myself to put out good content.
Another great hub, thanks for the ideas.

Great job once again, Rebecca. YOU are an original, my friend!
I really enjoy all you hubs! I can always rely on them to give me great information that I can put into practice. Another great hub!
Sometime hard to be mean to your beloved hubs but they shall be better for in the end. Another good topic you are brilliant my friend.
very detailed and I have to agree that every bit of information you provided here is 100% true. Some may promote content, some link building, but in order to make money and get your Hubs count for something you have to combine all of these efforts, starting from content and links to activity. And yes, deleting bad hubs is a must!
More "bricks" for my "Yellow Brick Road..." Thanks for sharing.
At the moment my main focus is not to make money, but to enjoy the creativity opportunity of writing. But I am pretty sure, if I need to change my mind and monetise better, I will remember all these tips you are giving us. Thanx.
Thank you for your informative hub.
I'm from NC and Amazon isn't working with us. I'm doing about everything but- ther4e isn't money in this that I can see. Thanks Rebecca
Rebecca, your information is always clear and most logical. I found a hub asking for the clearest instructions on how to make money on HubPages and suggested they read your hubs. No one makes it clearer than you do. Thanks again.
Mike
I can't even imagine how you get to 1.
I always enjoy reading your enigmatic missives. Carry on
the good work.
I don't agree that you should delete anything unless it could be seen as spam.
Low performing posts can still help drive traffic to beter places, can still help establish your reputation.
Another very infomative hub Rebecca...thank you.
I really appreciate these practical and informative hubs. Thanks so much Rebecca. Rated up and useful
"Passionate and helpful" - those are the keywords that describe you, Becca.
Thanks for the great information. Keep up the great work!
voted up and useful! great hub, informative, concise thanks again Rebecca...
Mucho Gusto! Thank You. I am putting 5 - 12 hours into each Hub article. Especially as I learn new things. I read all new hubs from my ever increasing Hubster connects, I mostly give feedback, and when I have "ideas" that are the forte of one of my connects, I message them personally. I study on-line information. I am willing to work 80 hours + to 1). make the world a better place 2). earn a decent income. Again, thank you for your helpful advice.
Thanks very informative, I have one of your recommended books 'The Adsense Code' i recommend it for those who own sites.
