Fix It 202: Fix These Mistakes and Then You will Make More Money Online.

In this online business, everyone wants to share knowledge. There is a standard which we all must uphold, and that standard is quality content. Your business depends on it. Making money is an art, and to make money online, you will need to think of what you are doing with your business, be it on any online writing site or your won personal websites and blogs. The truth is if we do not fix our work, then we do not get what we need: money.

That something more are ways to improve their hubs and give their audience something more. That is the power that each writer has in their lives. Something great about hubpages is that there are many people who want to help other improve their writing. Maybe because people think like it is a business and that they want to "give back." Others perhaps because they love what they do.

There are a few easy steps to doing this. This is a business and "good enough" is not enough. We can all fix our mistakes, that is the best part. By fixing it sooner, you will make money online faster.

What To fix First?: Now for me, this is one of the easier fixes, but when you are writing a hub, there are capsules which need, or rather must be added. One such capsule is a photo capsule.  it breaks up text and improves AdSense earnings, allowing you to make money faster.

People have a hard time reading one big piece of text. They need a break, a visual break to digest what you are writing, a picture with a comment below it usually does the trick. Now, I prefer to recycle my photos, for the reason stated above. People also like to use others photos, if it a stock photo it doesn't bother me as much.

So be wise, and look at your hub metrics to find out where you traffic is coming to each hub.

You can also add link capsules and amazon capsules which will do the same thing, but do break up your writing, amazon and photos are the best way to quickly fix up any hub. these will help but also add some interaction, such as a poll or a quiz that people can do and comment about. I put polls at the end, once people have had a chance to read what was written.

Fix it number two: Add Link capsules. The reason to add link capsules, done correctly will increase traffic between your hubs.

Links are of value, but you need to think about how you can interrelate your hubs, a lot of the time, people will put a hub together but will not think about the fact that this hub might be useful along with another hub.

Always add a couple hubs of your own, but also a couple from other people as well. It feels great seeing a link of your on someone else hubs. Now as for putting in a link, if they are a regular follower, I'll simply add a link of their without asking before hand, but...

It is always nice to get an email with the hub and the link on it to that writers email box so that they know that your hub has a link to a hub of theirs. Simply politeness is the case here. While you do not have to do this it is always a nice touch.

Links done correctly will also increase the "value" of each hub in terms of Google. Google is a beast unto itself, but that is where the biggest fixes come into play. Also link outside your hubs to one of your hubs. This will increase traffic to that hub and make more money.  The key to Google and making money is quality content.

What Does Google have to do with my hubs anyways? I don't need to fix up my hubs for Google: You want traffic? You want to make money on the Internet? You want comments and loyal readers? You want more traffic long after the hubpages crowds have left? Do you want money?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then: you need Google-- the search engine. There are three ways to work with Google and Google AdSense where you make money from your hubs on hubpages.

The first thing is you need links to your hubs, some people will do some of the work for you.... but you need to do the foundation, adding links to Stumble Upon, to Digg to FaceBook and to other sites, adding links to your blogs and websites. Taking the time to do these things are big to Google.  At the same time to make money your content needs to be quality content.

This is called SEO or search engine optimization. The best traffic there is in terms of monetary value comes from theSearch engines, and anyone who has been working with writing hubs online for some time will admit to this. Everyone needs good SEO, and that comes from keywords. Google thrives on keywords, in fact all of the search engines thrive on keywords....

Keywords increase traffic to a hub via searching. I like to go to my hubs and read them out loud about a week after I publish them. Now this may seem a bit silly, but what this does is helps me look at the keywords (called tags on hubpages) I have used and see if they fit with my hub.

A lot of people will write a couple of keywords at the beginning on their hubs, but like all businesses the important thing here is good repetition, so if you hub is on making money, you should have the words "money" or "making money" in your hub a couple of times.

People will search for something that has these keywords in it more than say once at the beginning of a hub and once at the end of a hub. It doesn't help much if you simply use the word because you think that it might get you more traffic.

If you have a series, this is a bit simpler, add the title of the series to your tags on each one of the series, as they relate to each other, when people click on the tag all of your series will come up on the search. This is a small but effective way to help with traffic.

Do not simply use one word keywords, but use a variety, say a 2 word or three word keywords. So going back to a hub about money, some good keyword in that case would be money, and then making money, and then, say make money online. They all relate, but people think differently than what you do. Give them a few ways to find your hubs.  This helps in searches which go beyond your hubpages and into the search engines.

 The Last Words--- Little things will fix up a hub very quickly and often these are the things most newer (and more experienced) hub writers often forget to do.  I have done it as well.  But it takes a day to go and look at an old hub to fix it up a bit, adding a few links and a photo tend to help with impressions.

Commenting and linking and interaction are vital to hubs, if you give them something to do they will stay if you don't they won't.   Above all have fun enjoy the process of writing and the process of improving your hubs even more.  Love what you do and the rest is easy!
