Getting and Keeping a Google AdSense Account For Your Business

Applying for a personal or business Google AdSense account is easy, in fact if your content and your writing is acceptable, it is simple. You will simply fill in the required information for your application and in about a week, you will find that your application is usually approved by Google. This is an affiliate program with many publishers on in it, and it is a business.

If your application is denied, read the email that the company will send you as to why Google rejected your application. If it says content, then read your work, a lot of times it is because you have done something against their terms of service. You will also need to go back and re-read the Terms of Service, it is a three page long piece of legal documentation-- but it is vital.

This is a business, and you are a business person, so you need to follow the rules. Google AdSense is choosing you, not the other way around. The fact is AdSense does not need a million people applying, but they accept you anyways.

The next fact which, you will need to accept is that 75% of people do not make money on Google AdSense each month, in other words, you have to work hard at making the money you want to make.

The Internet is a large place, and you will want to promote your site or sites, and if you follow the instructions from either blogspot or hubapges, and look long and hard at your hubs, you will find that the next step is: making money and doing this with Google AdSense. There are a few things that you need to understand.

The first thing to understand is that the Internet is a big place.

Some of the more major sites have said there is close to one billion websites, blogs, and smaller mini-website out there on the Internet. So, you have to keep this into perspective. You will make money, but for example if your topic has 14 million sites that are competing for top spot this can take a while. (one of the best examples is the keyword search make money... there are about 375,000,000 search results for that term when I typed it into Google)

Google AdSense is a way to make money online, and you will have to apply to do this, but you need to understand that if you are in a "hot topic" you might find it hard to make something more than pennies. At least in the beginning. You need traffic and links, and some great keywords.

The next thing to understand is you have to work hard to build your work.

This one is simple, and yet the hardest to accept for most people. Are you really willing to do the work needed to make the money you want? We all want money, but there really isn't an easy and free way to do it.... it is called hard work.

The last thing to understand is that you have to think, logically of course, but you ahev to think, and ask questions.

If I told you for say for a dollar I could make you millions, I trust you will understand i am joking, and that this will not happen. Time, content, time, content, and effort go into making money online. Simple. Anything else you need to question.

There are three basic rules for getting, and keeping your Google AdSense account.   The first rule is common sense, and this can really be an instant ban for your affiliate account and it is in the Terms of Service.

One is simple: never, ever click on your own ads, and never suggest to others to do so as well. This means look at your photos. They should not do this as well.  Do not suggest to anyone to do this, and if you suspect invalid clicks, contact Google.

The other thing that most people do not think of is equally of importance, and this is your links. By this I am referring to the links that you sent to other sites. These links need to follow the terms of service as well. So if you have a link to, say, a website that is banned by Google... well, you will not be getting an account. This also means that the links that you put in later one need to be maintained as well.

It is great that you want to increase traffic to other sites, really it is, but you need to think hard before adding links to other sites, and the same goes with hubpages, when you are adding a link capsule, take the time to look at the hubs you want to add to your hub, this is good business sense, but also a good way to make sure you are not going to get denied by Google AdSense.

Again applying is easy, and really, you should get accepted by Google AdSense, and this is a potential to making money.

Sorry to break it to you, but it is-- a very important business

This is a business, Google AdSense is a part of the Google business, and frankly, if you do not get traffic and the correct sort of traffic you will not get anything you want. You need to think like a business to make money. if you don't believe me as yet think of the many updates Google has done and how it has changed or affected your earnings. For some simply publishing a hub or creating a new website meant something good happened-- for a while, and then the rules of business changed.

Hubpages is a business as well, and so is every other online writing site out there.

So you need to think about what your priorities are. Are you here to make money fast? This is not the place to try, it's a slow process.

Are you here to learn?Read the forums, and also spend time at the learning center.

Are you here to bash your head against the glass ceiling until you get to your goals? Almost everyone else is trying that, but keep aiming high.

Are you here to help others? So are others who are publishing high quality hubs

Are you willing to work? Be prepared to work hard.

If you answered yes to the first question, I am sorry to say that nothing will be fast around here. I know of a few sites that do make money without a lot of promotion, but for the most part you need to promote your sites, and that is time consuming, and you will potentially be spending money.

If you answered yes to any of the others, then you are on the right track, and you will eventually make money with Google AdSense, just follow the rules they set down.

Getting and account is simple... go to Google AdSense and follow the instructions which they give you and read the contract, it is about three pages long, and also print the contract. Do not use anyone but Google AdSense as your account will be banned. No one but Google can get you an account.

Keeping an account means you will have to follow that contract, and make sure your expectations are realistic. Not many people make $1000 a month, and a whole lot more people make $10 a month.

This is AdSense, and you have to respect what they say is okay for your site, and if your site does not follow the terms of service, think twice about adding that particular site to AdSense. You are essentially their employee, like it or not, but you are also running a business.
