Google AdSense and Money: Time to Maximize Your Earnings on Your Websites

Maximizing Your Google AdSense Earnings

You can maximize Google AdSense earnings. But for the most part, this isn't what the question really wants to know. In fact this is all about maximizing Google AdSense revenue, which is money. Better yet making money. The Internet is full of advice on how to maximize Google AdSense revenue. It is a big business after all. If you maximize your website to make money online, you will eventually make money.

Revenue comes when someone (not you!) clicks on your ads and makes money. It is like a business where quality will always be more important than quantity... The Internet is an online business, and while you need to have a presence you also need to be able to understand when your business is doing well and when it is not. You need to work with what you have and make it better.

But here on hubpages there is a way to maximize your Google AdSense. (By this meaning how much money you'll get from clicks on Google Ads) there are a few things to understand: Content, keywords, and links.

If you want to maximize your google earnings... you have to think beyond making a few cents here and there.
If you want to maximize your google earnings... you have to think beyond making a few cents here and there.

Money Point 1: Content

Content: When someone writes content to maximize Google AdSense, what they really mean is the writing in a hub or a website or a blog. Every word you write is important, more so than you think. That is what content is about. The search engines need content, and unique content is vital.

For example, when I write about Google AdSense, I can mention it once, but this doesn't help AdSense itself, you see you're limiting the times the keywords are placed. Also with content there is such a thing as too much. There is a balance that needs to be maintained.

I can read anything and I like a change, and if someone is trying to maximize their AdSense they will write about a "big paying" topic or a "big paying keyword" sorry that is not how it works.

If you only mention a keyword once in your article (content part) you limit yourself, of course if you write the same words over and over again, this will also hurt you, as Google doesn't like a thing called "keyword Stuffing." (this means that practically every other words is a tag of some sort.)

So the content must be well written and be of value. The better the content the better the quality, the more value to others, For example you can add it as a link on a blog of yours or one of your hubs, and the content from that other place will help with this.

Bear in mind: Editing is a must. I know I am not the greatest at editing, but I also don't mind when people try to help, since they are trying to help. Also, try to make it readable. I am sorry but I CAN NOT read a hub or blog which is 6,000 words long and in one block text all in one go. Break it up that is what your capsules are for. Use them with care.

Keywords: This is called tags on hubpages and most people will be in one of three camps: They don't know much about them, and will take the suggestions that hubpages offers, They know a bit and are working on it, or they know a lot and make the most of their keywords.

So for a quick review: Google is a good keyword, but you can play around with that to maximize your chances of a click, by adding Google AdSense, or Google AdWords, or Google search. See? These are all keywords.

Now, This is important; your tags must be in your writing. Not just once, but more than once as I can also search on hubpages search and find keywords. So if there is a hub with the keyword "money" in it once, it won't rate as high as "money " in it twice or more. Never ever ever add keywords just because. That is also bad. not only does it lower the quality but your content will sound repetitive.  It needs to sound natural and original.

Keywords can be just about anything in your hub, but try to find words that are something that a person will think of when looking for your hub, but also something that a person will want to read more of.  that is the art of keywords.  It is all about business.

Links: Now this is the biggest of them all in terms of Google revenue or making money. Links are what drive traffic to a hub or a lens, or your blogs or anything you need to get traffic to. Some people call it back links, but the idea is the same, it gets people to a hub you want to promote with a click of a button.  Promotion is a constant for all hubs.

It also does more than that. You can add links between hubs, and this is something google and other search engines notice. for example if you only have say one link to a hub, then you can expect at least a bit of traffic to that hub.

But of course you want to make money, get traffic and all that good stuff. So you've made a hub with good content, and have added some good keywords. (do some research using Google AdWords), and most importantly you're following the terms of service on Google AdSense and other affiliate programs, now it is time to think big.

When I say interlink your hubs, What I mean by this is adding a link to another one of your hubs, do this for all of your hubs between each other. Now the traffic won't happen right away ( but sometimes it does!) this will give people options to seeing other hubs of yours.

The most important thing is to have some of your hubs linked to some of your blogs and articles that you've done. It's like a popularity contest, the more links that can be created the more "popular" your hub is to search engines.

That is the beauty of links, you can get traffic from other sources, use the power of links on digg and stumble upon and other social networking sites. Social networking sites such as Stumble Upon and Digg are vital, as they are viewed well by Google.  Again this is only a beginning as the social networking sites are only a part of the big picture but they do get traffic is done correctly.

Okay Fine, I've done this but!!!: One last thing, all of these take time, so even though you've begun this, the important thing is not to give up. I mean everyone has 24 hours in a day, so take about 15 minutes each day to add a couple of links or to look at your content. editing or adding a few newer capsules always help, still there is one important thing you need to do.

Ask yourself a few questions:

Is my business growing the way I want it to?

Is my Google earnings increasing at a steady pace or the way I like?

What can I learn to maximize beyond writing quality content and perfecting keywords and adding links?

Simple answer: To maximize Google AdSense for your business you need to learn how to fix your published hubs, and improve them and most of all give them time!

To your success.

I also write for another site, for links, and was told that I used too many keywords in an article. It was something like the word 'rose.' Since the article was about roses, how many ways can you say it without using the word? I've seen keyword stuffed articles, and they are off-putting, but sometimes as rose is a rose is a rose. (haha)

Sweetheart...

I see what you mean, really. This is more a carefully designed art than throwing keywords haphazardly to see what sticks. It takes time and planning. I`d rather take longer and do it right than going on a publishing spree without focus! Great points, baby!

Bookmarked, Rated and Stumbled!

Warmest teddy bear hugs, plenty of sweet kisses, light, love and infinite blessings,

Always yours,

Al

If only we could say something more about Adsense ads we could even make more money, but those are the rules, even if the traffic would increase also for advertisers. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure Adsense as it is will be soon dethroned by someone who will give more money to publishers and less to themselves. But for now we must accept Adsense as it is.

Great hub and very well explained. Rated and obviously stumbled. :)

hello hello-- two things, one it take about a month or two to get more stars, really it takes that long for stars int erms of incoming links to move. Also I believe that it is the number of links is a series that move the stars up or down. (so for example- 1-10 get one star 11-25 get two and so on)

I like it! Keyword stuffing is a definite no, no. And adding words just to add them just makes you look silly. Your comment on the backlinks caught my attention. I have seen how other hubbers have links to their other hubs but didn't realize the value behind it. My hubs don't have the same subject matter so I wasn't sure if it made sense to have a link to Ikebana Flower Arranging in a hub about sexuality and nutrition. What do you recommend that I do to improve links inside HP. You advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Becca! I love all your money making hubs. Speaking of linking hubs....would it be enough if RSS and link capsules are added to a hub? I guess that way also your other hubs get listed on your current hub. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
