To Make More Money Online on Hubpages, It is Time to Fix up Some Hubs

If you want to make money you have better look at yourself-- and better still, your business. This Is hard to follow advice, but often, the people who do make money here on hubpages usually are looking to improve on what isn't so good and build on what is good- especially when it comes to publishing a better hub.

What you need to make money is a hub. What you need to do to make money on hubpages is work, and build up your hubs to the point that people will actually want to see what you have to offer. This means looking at your keywords for Google AdSense and for Amazon and eBay, and this means you need to build your business.

Are you willing to look at yourself and see what can be improved to make money? You need to look at your hubs and see what business can be improved with a few simple changes to your hubs.

Now, this means going to go from thinking like a hobby but more like a business, if you want to earn money. It takes about 5 years of solid honest work to make a decent sum around here, but of course if you participate and focus on one niche and never ever ever give up, you will see success in making money and the online world.

So how long? About 3-5 years before the money is really good. Again, that is not a get rich quick theory but real life. so the best way to save your money, is by not listening to the get rich quick ideas out there.

Since most people learn to pay attention to the search engines it is vital to understand that while some rules change the foundation remains the same.  Content what you ahev written is still king.

Your content, which is of high quality, is not copied nor is duplicate content, will make money faster than any other method.  The reason for this is because most people focus on the one thing which they think makes money fast:  Writing a great deal of hubs and then building it from there.  The search engines will figure it out, they always do.

That is why PageRank is not as important in the grand scheme of things than what it once was.  That is why forums are not as popular to put work up on.  That is why people know more about copyrights and will file complaints to the owners of websites.  That is why content, original quality content will make a difference.

Learn SEO. for the people who don't know what SEO is it is a simple thing called search engine optimization, which for lack of a more "technical terms" it is how you write, what you link to and have people link to.

Now the general idea for SEO is to build links to your hubs, the more the better, except for one small fact, not all links are equal to the search engines. So to build your business that will make you money, you need to think about the links and where they are coming to and from.

A link from a website like wikipedia: VERY valuable.

So, SEO is trying to get the most money from the search engines.  You need them as much as they need you.

Google AdSense is good... and there are other ways to make money: Now, most people love Google AdSense, or hate it, but if you want to make money, you will need to learn to value it.  It is a business, and as such keeps a close eye on your business.

In this business, diversification is needed. (Amazon,eBay, Kontera are the ones hubpages uses, but there are many others out there.) So, I'll do a gold, silver and bronze type thing here.  Google AdSense uses Google AdWords to build their business.  So, I'll try keep this very simple.

Gold: A really really good website site adversitment from Google.  Now, these are the ones that every one wants, but often due to lack of Google "AdSense" do not get.  Why? The things they write are not worth this ad. 

Silver: For people who have been working with Google AdSense, these are the clicks you find coming with a bit more frequency.  These are the clicks which are between 1-5 dollars, in a competitive niche on a well linked site. (I won't get into page rank, but that has an affect as well)

Bronze:  The Google Ads that almost everyone gets at least once.  These are found on newer hubs, or on older hubs which are of poor quality or poorly linked.  These if you learn about SEO and keywords can be weeded out over time.

The idea is that with Google AdSense, some writers are gold, and silver and Bronze.... so if you want to earn money with Google AdSense... where do you want to be?

Content is Golden-- or the last word. A hub can make you money, in fact if you try hard enough you will make money with hubpages and Google and Amazon and eBay. It simply takes time. In many ways a hub is like a blog, where the better the content the more likely people will come, and click on an ad.

This is where you spend time build your traffic and creating something needed. Mind you a hub is not a blog, so it can not be short. Nor should it be duplicate. Take the time to build your hubs as you would a blog or a website.
