How to Make Money: With and In Your Hub Pages: Do You Get Paid From AdSense Using Hubpages (monthly) or is it a myth?

The biggest question that people seem to post on hubpages is a sort of question which falls along the lines of do you actually get paid with hubpages when you have AdSense or any other pay-per-click program? Do you think it is a possibility? Is it a myth? Can you make money with Google AdSense, or is that a myth too?

Well this is a business and if you don't want to do the work to make money, then it simply will not happen It is that simple. You need to "pay the price." Now for the most part people want to make money quickly or they simply don't want to do the work it takes to have the money they desire.

This is the Internet, but I would say pretty much all the rules that apply to the "outside" world in business apply here. Some will not make money, and some seem to believe that they only have to do one part of the overall work to get what they want: Money, money and more money.

So, your take Is it a myth?:No it is not, and I do know of many people who make good money through hubpages and they can say they do make money. I also have noticed one thing in common with those who make money and those who don't.

I can find the ones who do make money, well everywhere online. I find them on RedGage, on Social Networking sites-- Digg and Stumble Upon, Reddit and others like it. I also find they put in massive time in getting those links up. They can also inform you which ones work and which don't work as well.

They also have blogs and websites and the links to their hubs are there. I can say that they certainly seem to do everything right. In fact when reading the hubpages blog, many of them say it takes a lot of work to get things running but then it simply happens and it works. I would go as far as to say that they have original content wherever they go.

Those who don't make money, well I don't usually see them on places like these, and I also do not see them subscribing to others, they simply put their works on these sites and let them be... which is a good beginning but traffic will not come without work anywhere. You need to make an effort on social networking sites as well to build your community to make money.

This is a start and you might make some money... but there is more.

Cute.. I did that but, I have still made no money: That basic linking to social networking sites is a start I said, you need to begin to look at the next thing you and your presentation of you on both hubpages and elsewhere. I know I need to do keyword research I am not the best at it but it is the next step in making money on a regular basis.

By now you have probably heard about how to make money using Google-- or rather teh affiliate prgram known as AdSense. The next thing you need to look at are your links. Where are your major sources of traffic? Do you have more than one sources of traffic? (If all your traffic comes from StumbleUpon and other social networking sites, you have a problem, as it is still only one type of traffic)

What works for me is going to Google AdWords and using their keyword tool. I simply play around a bit with words I am interested in. I usually do this for my writing hubs, in hopes to get a new or improved idea, but this can work for any hub. I have found Google AdWords also shows the first page of a keyword.

This is time consuming, but worth the effort to gain knowledge in regards to where your hub stacks up in terms of the larger websites. Think of it this way, a larger website or established blog has hundreds if not thousands of links to them. You want to compete? You need at least ten quality links to a hub you want to make money from. I would go as far as to say an organic link is better, but having no links is not good either.

Keyword reasearch? That is a lot of work and, one might ask for what: a couple more cents?: Yes,a couple more cents, or a couple more dollars. One of the best things is getting links to your hubs, not only from your own efforts but from others. I would say the tipping point to making money-- for me at least-- is when there are more links and traffic is higher than 300 visits a day. (I get between 300-500 visitors in a 24 hour period)

You need traffic and you need visitors. So you need to do some searching. On hubpages you have traffic sources. Ask where you are getting your traffic? Do you get traffic from social networking sites? IS it on a regular basis?

Are you getting them from search engines? Which ones? Do you use Google Analytics to find this out?

Is your profile getting visits? If not, then why not? Why are people following you? What are you giving back to the hubpages community?

With linking, no in the beginning you are not going to make too much that takes time, but you can expect at some point to begin to make some money. Linking also means that you will have to consider the idea and the work of keyword research, which is a long process but it is as vital as linking.

So, Name me Five Things I need to do to come close to making money every month: Glad you asked. I will tell you exactly what I do.

1) Write hubs on a regular basis and comment back on every comment you get. Not only that commit to writing comments on various hub writers hubs. Comments are an every day thing.

2) Write at least Five E-Zine Articles BASED on each hub: I write about a 400 word article for e-zine and add a link to one of my hubs there. I intend to write 5 for each hub which will get some traffic from there, more important it is a link.

3) Social Networking and Social Bookmarking Sites: I have added links there, and subscribed to others so that people will "see" me. My top three are Stumble Upon, Digg and RedGage. I put those links there, and then I go to FaceBook.

4) I have links to my hubs on my blogs as needed: This is simple if you have a blog use it with a good blog post and then add a link to one of your hubs there. It is a good way to get both traffic and money

5) Look into Google AdSense and AdWords and Analytics and now with the sub-domain webmaster tool: These three are a must, as they show me many different things, use together this is a very powerful tool as it helps you understand where, who, what, when and why people come and read your hubs. Use these three correctly and it will help you. it will also help you understand why you can make more money using certain words or phrases.

On top of these five I also promote my hubs for more than 1 month. meaning the links are begin added over the course of a month. Then I still add an e-zine article to some older hubs. At this point I have about 60 e-zine articles live.

Last Word-- no it is not a myth to get a payout monthly... in fact I have done so. I also have received a number of payouts bi-monthly due solely to hubpages, and not to my blogs. of course, a monthly pay is only $100 US and that is not $1000 but with linking and keyword research and care of your titles and of course working with quality, you are sure to succeed over time.

The trick is a lot of work laying the foundation with links and keyword research and understanding search engines and the business of hubpages.
