Making Money (Earn) from and With Google AdSense in a(One)Day (USD): How Much is Good? (And What do you Want to Make)

Google AdSense: How Much To Expect in A Day

In this business with Google AdSense, every person wants to make money and usually wants to do so with the least time and effort. This is not saying that you can not have fun with your work, but the problem is that you need to think of Google AdSense as a business, your business. No one will help you if you do not help yourself.

That being said, it is important to have specific goals, and for the most part, people have personal goals in terms of what they make each day with Google AdSense.

If you set a goal of making $100 dollars per day, through the Google AdSense Affiliate Program would you make this goal?

Do you know how to get there with the hubs and websites and blogs and other sites you have? You know what it will take to do this, this is a business and no one way is perfect, but there are ways to hit your goals in a reasonable time frame.  There are many factor which make this an interesting possibility.

If you do enough of this... called writing...
If you do enough of this... called writing...
you will make some of this,,, called money... but you need to do the first thing before you can get the second thing
you will make some of this,,, called money... but you need to do the first thing before you can get the second thing

Money and Google AdSense

Money and Google AdSense: Now I've said this before but I will say it again not everyone makes money with Google AdSense Program. In fact, according to many sources the is a "law" of Google AdSense which states that for every publisher who uses Google AdSense, only 25% will make a payout of $100 (or local currency) each month.

This information is important in terms of making money online. It is not good to sit down and complain that "AdSense won't let publishers make money." You have to be realistic in terms of how much money you can make with Google AdSense ads.

Also, look hard at the keywords tools which are available to you.  Some like teh Google AdWords tool is useful if you spend time with it figuring out which keywords will be useful to both you, in making money and to your readers.  The more you can make certain your websites or blogs are found on the search engines the more likely you will have clicks on your ads, and make money this way.

It involves more than simply writing a bunch of hubs and hoping for the best, rather it means site promotion, done correctly, and increasing traffic and having a number of places where you write online. (For example: Wikinut, Bukisa, Hubpages, Squidoo)  It also means writing on your own websites or blogs, which are not revenue sharing sites.

Gettig Paid.. Time and Your Business

I am getting paid.. but I am not happy. I know a lot of people have personal goals that they set each day for how much they want to get from Google. It is great if there was a sort of way to predict how much you will make in a day, but really after a while, you can learn to know which days are really great for you... and which ones are not.

So, yes you do get paid, but I doubt you are happy with getting 3 cents a day each day and not knowing what Google AdSense is doing to you. It could be all about the keywords you use and links that you have but you do need to think about other things. This is the time when one can say build up your business, and keep a close eye on it.

Like getting something, anything, sometime from Google AdSense, you are running a business after all. You need some money! With any business, one day you will make money and then the next you will make nothing with Google AdSense, or at least to begin with.

The key here is time, the longer your quality content is out on the Internet, the more likely you will get traffic and this traffic will be more willing to either comment or better still, pay you by clicking on your product links or ads.  The key is writing quality content.

One Day.. How Much Money do You Expect to Make?

So what is a good day to you? For me right now a great day is a day where I earn more than $10. Before you go screaming that life is so unfair and that no one (meaning you) will get there, hold on for one second.

1) I have been publishing hubs for more than two years now and have over 200 hubs that I have published during this time. Most of them have a good number of links to them. This is my business I am constantly learning. Think about this point for a minute, one year 180 hubs, and my business is now starting to make steady money.

2) I have two blogs with Google AdSense on them. They have been around for almost four years, and they do get some decent traffic.

3) I link and fix up my hubs a lot. I think of many of my hubs as a business where they need me to build them up as best I can. I also update my hubs on a regular basis.

4) I also have published a book. This means over time I do make a passive income from my book and e-book.

In other words I have spent a lot of time, going for days without making a single penny, nothing, and then finding that I needed to fix something on my hubs or whatever and then made some money... not a lot but some. It took a long time before I was willing to admit that my hubs were, well needing work.

After I did this, I found that not only did I get more comments but I wanted to work harder to build my business, so a good day to aim for would be $1 to $4 per day with Google AdSense.

you need links and good links and traffic
you need links and good links and traffic

Learning and Fixing: Keyword Research

Make Money with Google AdSense? Patience is the key. So is learning and fixing up and problems. So is increasing traffic from different sources... does everyone have that sort of time? what about keyword research, the question is where you do begin, after all you need to increase traffic, and you need search engine traffic, and you need good keyword research to get paid by Google AdSense.

If you do and are willing to work hard and love each moment, then expect say a dollar a day, by the end of the first year is more than reasonable. In fact I would suggest with enough links and activity in various social networking sites, and on hubpages you can grow you Google AdSense earnings to at least 3 or 4 dollars a day by the end of the first year.

Now I am talking about averages here, as often one day you will make say a dollar, but then the day after you will make 5... so your average is four dollars over two days. Google AdSense is like the stock market, there are many ups and down but it does go up over time. The more effort you put into making your hubs found (which is keywrod research at its finest) on the search engines the more likely you will make money and get paid sooner.

I want to make in one day with Google AdSense...and on a regular basis

  • A Dollar ( or equivalent in my currency!)
  • Two dollars
  • Three to Five Dollars
  • Five to Seven Dollars
  • Seven to Ten Dollars
  • Ten to Twenty Dollars
  • Twenty to Forty Dollars
  • Forty to Sixty Dollars
  • Sixty or More Dollars

Business Plans, Writing and Google

The Last Word-- keep on writing have a business plan about how you will make the daily numbers you want to make, number crunch a bit and also know how your sites will do in terms of Google in general. As in if you have a site which is in a highly competitive niche it will take longer... (a good example is the niche of "how to make money with Google AdSense)

By this if you know you sites are not "big traffic sites" then expecting $10 a day is not realisticwith in the first year of starting your online business. See what your business (hubpages and others) need to grow.Know that publishing and writing great content are a must.

Above all set a goal you can get to, and you will not be yelling, I am not getting paid by Google. You will be yelling a far more positive thing: I am getting paid for my writing and my online work!

To your Success.

Hi…great information. This is one of the most comprehensive sites on the methods to make money with Google

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 8 months ago

Glenn-- I wouldn't duggest something like a link wheel. more something like targetting the right audience, a topic of say shopping might be better off sent to facebook whereas something on Google in teh article directories ect.

OF course teh gorund base is high quality content and then working on linkss over a long long period of time

Glenn Stok profile image

Glenn Stok Level 6 Commenter 8 months ago

Rebecca, I would not spread links around myself. Google is too smart for that. They can tell when someone is gaming the system by creating their own backlinks. Those backlinks may bring traffic from those various sites, but not from Google. And Google will lower the ranking if they determine the links were done by the author. They know because true links that other people place on their own will develop slowly over a period of time.

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 8 months ago

Glenn-- what I mean is say having a "topic" of your lenses working with teh aritcle ddirectories and other on social networking sites ect. or would you spred the links to all of the above sites?

Glenn Stok profile image

Glenn Stok Level 6 Commenter 8 months ago

Rebecca, I'm not sure what you mean by "a group thing" but as far as adding links, it's true that external links can help rank if they point to another site that adds value to the subject. If you link to a site that has a low ranking with Google then it can possibly pull your ranking down.

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 8 months ago

Glenn-- I've found updating a len each month or every two weeks brings the lensrank up by quite a bit in some cases. In others it only moces it up a couple of rankings but it is a process one must take.

Would you update and add links as a "group thing there?" I know external links are considered much more important than internal one there.

Glenn Stok profile image

Glenn Stok Level 6 Commenter 8 months ago

Rebecca, You are right on both counts. Squidoo only pays to the top three tiers. And yes, updating increases the rank a little. They don't want people writing lenses that become stale and out of date. So they reward for keeping things updated.

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 8 months ago

Glenn-- i don't mind you babbling, but what you say is true, if your lenses aren't to stuff you don't get paid, and that means a lot of time. I would say I am going back to Squidoo, and have found teh more I update, teh more teh lenses get a higher rank.

I even read somewhere (correct me if I am wrong) that below a certain lensrank you will need to fix them up anyways.

amranthmercy-- it's really a chance game, if you get a few hits then you will be able to work with the moeny you make--- however it's a long long process.

Rebecca, I have no problem learning new things. I'm a self-learner. The only thing I meant was that it's time consuming. I noticed how similar Wizzley is to HP and I'm actually thinking of giving it a try. But at the same time I think about the fact that I might end up with just a few articles on each platform if I spread it out too much. The other is Squidoo, which I started less than two months ago because I noticed they were not hurt by Panda. I'd like to give it a while to see how the income is before I try Wizzley. They have a different payment method. On HP you get a tittle for each click, and that can add up with quantity if the quality is good. Squidoo works different. They collect all the money in a pool. You don't get paid at all unless your lens (as they call it) is above a certain level. Only the top three tiers get paid. So if you have quality you get some of the money that came in from clicks on the lower tiers. Sorry for blabbing on but you did ask. :)

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 9 months ago

Glenn-- teh learning curve is hard, I've come to teh conclusion you simply need to expand, but mind you I think that if oyu write quality you can learn anywhere. As for wizzley it seems so much like hubpages, it's fun. Still, it is something you know about your writing best... What is the other platform you write on?

amaranthmercy profile image

amaranthmercy 9 months ago

I'm so glad I found this hub! It seems like a lot of people like to dance around just how much you can make with AdSense, and how affective blogging can actually be as an income. This was very informative and had a lot of useful advice. Thank you!

Glenn Stok profile image

Glenn Stok Level 6 Commenter 9 months ago

Rebecca, I looked at wizzley, but not exceptz. However, I chose Squidoo and an additional platform to write on. But HP has proven to be much better after experiencing Squidoo's poor programming management with a buggy platform. Being that I had gone through an additional learning curve for Squidoo, I don't want to go through that again with wizzley (too time consuming), although it looks very good.

Rebecca E. profile image

Rebecca E. Hub Author 9 months ago

Glenn_ have to tried exceptz and wizzley? I have found them very useful in getting traffic and other things to my blogs and hubs-- so I figure that this might be another way to get that $100 per day.

Glenn Stok profile image

Glenn Stok Level 6 Commenter 9 months ago

Maybe someday in the far distant future I'll have 2000 hubs. But I'm not aiming for that. Nevertheless, $100 a day would be nice to have :)

Glenn-- hmm it might take a while, but it is possib;e, off to write your 2000 hbs I hope!

I had actually read and commented on this hub 13 month ago. But the information you have here is so useful that I found it important to review it again.

You asked in your hub if it is possible to make $100 a day with Google AdSense. Just by multiplying out from where I stand now with my earnings from close to 60 hubs, I can see that it would take about 2000 Hubs.

I was one of those people who was stripped of their account but I later applied and got a second chance to open another account. Something many people said was impossible. I think the quality of Google adsense ads has become worse and often I see a lot of irrelevant ads on my sites one reason why I decided to take them off my sites on my domain names. I mean one time I saw an ad for the clickbank ebook how to convert your car to run on water - what a scam. However I checked my account recently and found a surprise amount no not much but something to look forward too.
