Maximize Google AdSense: Improve Your Hubs and Make More Money For Your Online Business

Winsome asked me this question and asked, very bravely how to maximize their hubs, by comparing them to others. Now I'll do something of that sort, it is a good business practice to improve your hubs and your blogs and everything else.

I spent a good deal of time looking at their hubs, and for the most part they are great and, but of course great doesn't mean perfect so I'll do the next thing, some suggestions. Now winsome, you are a great writer and you will see a lot of success, so never fear, here are a few helpful hints. This is a business so when someone asks so wonderfully for help I can not possibly say no. They want to make money, as does everyone else, and they will I am certain of it.

This will help you maximize Google AdSense and amzon and explain links to everyone else.  The key is how your hubs appears to others, but also in the long run where you put your capsules.  This means that Content, then traffic, then money needs to be your goal.

I'll Start with the Good:Winsome being very brave asked me to look over the hubs she has and comment on them to make them better. Now before everyone goes and asks for my head, winsome has several great hubs. In other words she has fine hubs, and great hubs, but all can use a bit of improving. (This is across the board for all hub writers.)

They are a great writer, with an raw talent, and that I why I read a lot of their hubs. They've got a lot of potential as one of the best and funniest hubs I've read was voted as a hubnugget. This is important because hub nuggets are voted by you. (Yes it is weekly, and yes there is a vote.)

The key however is what they choose to put in the top parts of their hubs, and this has made probably the most difference with their writing and with the work that they have done in terms of building a business and making money online.

The important thing is all this can be improved. What winsome really wants is a few ways that they can Improve or maximize their Google AdSense.

Links: For the most part, they have links, but not all link are created equal and not all links are needed. I noticed that on their lower scoring hubs ( which are wonderful poems by the way) they don't have a link capsule. So well this gives the focus on each poem, which is great there isn't a real way to maximize the Google AdSense potential.

Now this is of course a personal choice, but if it were me what I would do is at the bottom of each of my hubs I'd add a small link capsule that links between each of the poems. Something along the lines of "for more great poems." This will increase traffic between hubs but also increase the "value" of each poem on Google. But teh key to that is to also link to other sites where they might find traffic.

Also a lot of the links that they do have lead to another "big site" but they have several hubs that would link very nicely to another hub. So there is a lot of potential. Even a couple of links to their other hubs will improve the money potential.

Keywords: This is the big one that I look to each time. Now in this case, winsome's writing is awesome and the word count is great which means that chances are the hubs can be found on Google and the other search engines. Keywords are the way you can maximize google revenue but also amazon and eBay.

Except for one thing: Keywords and Keyword research.

The keywords are all good, but not great in terms of how others can find them. For the most part the keywords used are only one word and arr all different. For example in some of the writing, they will mention: "writing" as a keyword, but what about: writers? or writing a hub? The keywords are very "wide" so in one hub the word relationships is mentioned once, but not in the beginning of the hub.

Keywords, are something that are useful and that you can leverage and yes it took me a long while to figure out that "maximize google" and "maximize google AdSense" get two very different results.

So Add a few two or three word keyword which relate to your one word keywords for more exposure. Google search engines will love you for it. It's somewhat like linking so the more you can add in terms of SEO they more traffic and money you will see.

Content: This one is something I am so impressed with, there is a wide range of content, and winsome is very knowledgeable. This is to their advantage as they are willing to ask hard questions and write a great quality hub.

So I don't have much to say about content, it is well written and articulated well. So this is a big advantage for them. People need to bookmark these hubs and come back time and again.

Most are must read hubs, and most are in good topics such as politics and the economy, so winsome has a good mind for business. They have taken the steps in terms of content that will keep traffic coming back and commenting.

Quality will always win over Quantity. Google will see this in the end. Keep writing excellent hubs!

Interactivity:  This is a good beginning, and winsome has the general idea, but they can go one step farther.  Add a few polls, they have a lot of information and people need time to talk about the information.

Polls and quizzes and links are a must.  This will get people commenting, as a poll is a big one that takes about 5 seconds but can make someone comment about the results.  This adds to the time people spend on a hub often by a few seconds but in a business a few seconds is all it takes to maximize Google AdSense.  In this business talking is much better than not.

Add an amazon capsule will help in terms of interactivity as I have seen a few people comment about the book I choose.  This adds to time spent on a hub.  This also gets people more interactive.  No it may not get you money, but window shoppers sometime become excellent customers in the end.
