Maximize Google AdSense: Maximize your Hubs and your Money
75Maximizing Your Google AdSense
Google, and maximizing your business means maximizing your work to get money from Google AdSense. This is a request, and it is pretty straight forward how do you maximize your hubs to get more money with Google AdSense and earn it faster than in other ways. This is business and you need to make a living.
See, Google AdSense and AdWords all run on the same thing, some basic unspoken rules, and if you work with what you know you will find that you will see success. Again it just takes time. Also, you need a bit of luck, getting your name out in the online world, and that of course takes time as well.
If you want to make money online, you need to maximize your Google AdSense earnings. This means thinking of profit and income and your hubs as a large niche with money making potential.
It is a business after all.
Of course You all Want to Hear the Good things About this hub Writer: they are a writer who writes on many topics and who is always positive and encouraging, he has written two specific hub for two other hubbers, so I was pleasantly surprised by this request. Dohn121 and myself if you are asking.
The biggest thing that I see which is a big positive is that he has some links between his more recent hubs. He also has a good grasp of interactivity since in many of his hubs he replies to comments. Interactivity is something he needs to continue to do, this is a must. Nothing else will matter if he doesn't do interactivity, his content is good so that is also a big plus in this business.
Now, here is the biggest thing, He writes and comments and does this with other hub writers. Now being that this is a business and they are looking for ways to improve their hubs and maximize his Google AdSense, I'll be giving out a few pointers.
Titles Are Everything!!: Now while many of his hubs have a lot of potential, there is one big thing that I see that is holding him back, his titles. For example his most recent hub is trial on my soul (confessions of a dying soldier).
Okay to a bad title but not something I would think of if I was doing SEO. I would in fact write the title as Confessions of a Dying Solider: Trial on my Soul, a poem. No big change just flipped it around a bit, because the first two or three words are what I would think to write as a search on google.
Yes I have done the same thing, and in fact my publishing book 101: common mistakes, was like that until I flipped it, and I got search engine traffic from that hub. So yes title is a big one, and it takes about 5 minutes to fix them. Just go to the hub and hit edit and edit the title.
This will be the big one and Google AdWords can certainly help you on that one it will improve traffic and your hubs. Google is great but you have to harness it to the full potential. This takes time, but it is worth the time to improve and maximize your Google AdSense.
Links Links and More Links: I've seen this one, and while they are doing well with links, he could do better. Much better. A lot of his hubs aren't interlinked, so when he uses the social networking sites, he is not using them to drive traffic to his hubs, so he is creating a lot of work for his readers.
It is like SEO and Google, if I can't find you or I can't get to another thing you've written I am not going to add another 5 minutes to my journey, so you've lost that potential big time. even one link to another hub will help.
This was my near downfall as well, again not all links are created equal and not all links will make you money. This is his thing, I know he does a lot of social networking on Stumble Upon, (yes he is on my list of subscribers) but not on Digg, So he is losing this traffic.
Now in my experience social networking drives traffic, but you need to get people to subscribe as well, and that takes time. it is a bit of luck but also some basic SEO social networking style. Again, he could use to his advantage his websites and other hubs, but also Squidoo to promote his hubs.
Linking done right should take him about 2 hours with the number of hubs he has. he needs tp add links between his hubs, this is a must, between all of his hubs. Otherwise his hard work will be for nothing. He wants to make money, and is eager but he has only just begun.
As With Anything It is Location Location Location: This hub writer has all the elements for a great hub, when I look at his scores, it tells me his hubs aren't getting the traffic they need. Not that this is a bad thing, but I would say it is the location of where he puts things which matter.
For example most of his story hubs have a picture to start, they are larger picture and while this isn't a bad thing, there is the tendency for most people to think it is simply a picture and move on. Also, the picture pushes his Google AdSense box below it, and this is no way to maximize Google AdSense!
The best way to go is to have a bit of writing to begin with then a photo this way you get the best of both worlds, as readers will see some writing, and then a bit of a photo, this makes most readers scroll down to see the picture. I moved around my photos and found that for my hubs, a photo right below about 200 words of introduction is prefect, in fact I am still working on editing all my hubs. The edited hubs have shown me increased traffic and more comments.
Also, his polls are everywhere, and the best place to have polls is near the end, where most readers expect to find them. I looked for them and often had to read his hub a couple of times to find them. So a location near the bottom will help. By putting my polls near the bottom of my hubs is a great way to get people to stop and read and click on them, also I found about 4-6 choices have been a big help for getting more comments. Like Links, and SEO and business it all relates.
Great work and it really won't take much to fix this bit, so i wouldn't be surprised to see some big things happen.
Great but what I need to do Next Is
See results without votingSo a few Points before I leave:
Work on keywords, and also work on getting more hubs out there, you've got a good beginning but it needs more, more hubs more links and better keywords and a bitof learning SEO, ( Go to google to begin with since you want ot maximize your Google AdSense revenue.) Doing all of these things, which takes time, will be a challenge so good luck to my fellow hub writer.
So in many ways answering requests like this is a great way to find out what can be good but also what can be improved, both in your hubs and in return you help them publish better hubs.
To your Success.

nice and informative
What about now with all the Google changes?
I've been working on the linking thing but will now concentrate on my titles. Thanks for the helpful info from a newer hubber.
you mean slow down on writing hubs? did you read my 2 hubs and did they seem to be like... thin or not very good? i ask because i really only have people like you guys to compare myself to and really that's like comparing a match to the sun lol
can you give me an example of how my title/keywords can be improved specifically with one of my hubs
You're right that titles are important. I feel like I'm finally getting to write titles effectively for Google Adsense purposes. I've really struggled with titles on Associated Content.
i am really starting to enjoy your hubs here. So the first place to start is your title? Then
You are brilliant, provocative and very astute.
Of course you are also a Canadian - like me - by the lake here at Lake Erie!
I see that I could certainly learn from someone like you and then one day I can tell Donald Trump: You're fired!!!
Rebecca, this helped me too and I have been here a years. So thanks for the tips, some of them are going to help me a lot! My best to you.

thanks for information, but i need help about approval of adsense account

To stumble upon yourself - good idea. I'll try this out and maybe start growing my stumble upon community. Thank you Rebecca.
Thanks so much, your hub was easy to follow and right to the point. You have offered some very helpful tips.
Many thanks,
Sage
I thought you can't change the title once it is published. Great hub. Loved it as always. You are my hub page guru
Well, you have good reasons for it.:) I tried the moving picture thing on a couple of my hubs who were not working very well and they've already improved. Thanks for your always good advices Rebecca.:)
Very thought provoking hmm. Now its making me wonder if I should retitle my Single motherhood and dating series titles. Thanks for always making me think when I read your hubs.
Nice info Rebecca I enjoy Mystique's writings very much and I am sure that he will be a great success. Its great that you can give such great critique in the nices possible way that is so helpful to everyone. Happy Easter!
Nice info i bookmarked. Thanks..
Mistique is on of the best hubbers around, always positive and ready to give a kind word. He's so full of positivity that it transpires in every word he says, so if he can become also a great hubber as regards also money it would be even better. And with your advices Rebecca this becomes pretty simple.
Titles are a must, and as you rightly said changing them can make wonders for traffic; actually I've changed most of them, as much as summaries. I've never thought about the pictures, this is something I should check and see what I can do, especially for those hubs which do not perform very well.
As regards AdSense and traffic I've seen an interesting thing: the common theory is to write hubs from 800 to 1200+ words, yet I've seen that some hubs I have below 800 words are far better than the longer ones. Probably readers prefer less long and sometimes boring hubs. Could it be? Or it is just a coincidence?
Well, my best wishes to my friend Mistique, kudos to you for another great hub, rated and stumbled.
And Happy Easter to everyone!
Thanks for the reminder about interlinking Hubs. We know we have got some work to do on this front.
We have moved the photo down on most of our Hubs, and this seems to be a good move because then ads appear at the top of the hub.
Is strikes me that it might be a good idea to say in the opening paragraph or maybe the second that there is a poll at the end of the Hub - might encourage people to keep reading? What do you think?
Another useful hubpage, i'll look in to changing my titles to see if they make a big difference, buy why aren't you linking you hubs like you use to do whith all your adsense hubs? But still a great useful hub.
You always have such helpful tips. Love your hubs.
Such wonderful information!! I love that you write so people can actually understand!! lol Rated up!
I know who I am going to come to should I have a question Rebecca! Good practical advise that should give everyone something they can use to improve.
Good luck Mystique1957 as you take her advise and start fixing up your hubs! I agree with Rebecca, your content is great, so you have a wonderful head start.
It takes courage to ask for advise like this. :)
Well done, both of you
Don't forget to add Reddit to your networking list of must do's. On my way there right now
Great advice, Rebecca, as usual, but then I would expect no less from you.
I learn something every time I read one of your hubs.
Note: I am writing a hub to address your questions about marketing on Twitter - will submit it later today.
Since I have learned from you about backlinks and links I am very busy to this at the moment. Next, I will go over my titles. Thank you for sharing.
Interesting ~ info I needed. I'm bookmarking this. Thank you :)
Good hub, great advice...Rebecca! Thanks!
very nice tips.. I have tweeted it.
Teasing titles out of articles is one of the pleasures of writing, I must agree!
Thanks for this great hub, Rebecca.
Thanks again for your informative hub
Baby...
(Blush!) I am honored and ashamed at the same time, love. I wouldn´t even imagine that the things so simple as those you mentioned would be so important. Well, you certainly learned something new every day! I am glad you taught me, sweetheart!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Thumbs up! Bookmarked and Stumbled now!
Warmest care bear hugs, zillions of kisses, love, light and infinite eternal blessings,
Always yours,
Al XOXOXOXOXOX
Interesting hub here - the idea about switching the name around is classic - something I never thought of.
I'm going to experiment with that. I have quite a lot of hubs that are titled "Book review: name of book" - gonna take half of them and change it to "Name of Book: book review"....thanks for that tip alone! I seem to be following your other tips...text and photo...the poll thing I tend to put either at the top or bottom - and it's usually a conscious decision based on what I'd like to see on a site.....anyway thanks for the tips!
