Money 101: oh Poor Me! I'm Sorry but I have a Money Obsession... or How and Why I am obsessed with Money!

I really must admit that writing is a great thing, but there is always that little obsession that I find with people and the rather interesting topic of money. Mention it to writers and you'll get the comment, my writing is the most important thing. Speak to some who are geared towards the whole idea of SEO or traffic or AdSense or whatever, you'll hear a different tune, money is everything, and often the way they think is about money.

Money Money Money, and still more money. I'm sorry but i must admit that I am obsessed with money.  It is my business and I need to know the bottom line, where I get my money and when it come and where it come in.

Now before you who have been a fan for a while you'll know my sense of humor, but for the new people, this is more about what can't and can't be done, with humor mixed in. I'll talk about google AdSense, and amazon, and eBay, and int eh end why we are all obsessed about making money, and some, remedies to remind us how to have fun and, maybe, make a bit of money.

Google AdSense: Most people will tell you that Google AdSense is the easiest and fastest way to make money on hubpages. For the most part they are right. Except that they forget that some hubs simply won't get the kind of traffic or the person writing the hub simply doesn't have the fan base to read their hubs.

I can say with some certainly, that maybe three or four of my hubs are visited by a lot of people and i do get some clicks out of them. I work hard to get the traffic that is need to get a click on an ad by Google. I put it on my blog, I use Stumble Upon, or Digg, and I put it as a share on Facebook. I also work with search engines, and am learning about how these help me. Of course that all takes time.

It's a simple yet effective way to increase traffic.. or course if you want to get all sorts of traffic, and work at it, meaning write a hub, or sixty! Link them together for more traffic. Now remember that not all traffic is created equal in terms of making money.

Did I mention you needed to do this? You to begin with and it's called "work?" I'm no wizard, but one who types and writes a lot. ( hence w-o-r-k.. oh my I said a bad bad bad word..)

Other Money Ways Other Theories: Of course I'll list "everything else" about obsession with money here, amazon, eBay, affiliate programs, writing you name it.  the point is there are many ways in the online business world to earn money and to build up your business to the point where you don't have to do as much.

I know the theories, some of them being a bit "out there" from putting as many ads and affiliates on as you can without getting into trouble of course, to writing a bit of content and then leaving it be... (which is also bad) these definitely don't work. Sorry. Back away slowly if you hear that and run from the website who is ads central.

Money is nice, but what's it mean to you when there's "never" enough. See, if I'm totally obsessed with money I'll have more up and down days than what I have now... oh wait I am obsessed with money!

It's an emotional rollercoaster let me tell you. Write for enjoyment I always say and the money should come.

Money is a good thing it helps me and you, but so does work and writing what you enjoy, if you write something because you enjoy it then it will show, you can have fun with it, and you can write better. of course this is a business and being professional counts a lot as well, but having fun with an obsession can also be fun, as along as you are challenging yourself to improve.

Don't deny what you're writing, if you're writing because you love writing keep it up, the money will come to you. Publishing a hub is publishing, so work on it and enjoy.  You will improve your writing and learn a bit about the online business world too.
