Show Me My Money: Five Things to Fix So That You Will Make Money Online
78To build a hub that will make you money takes talent, but you also need to stop and build a hub that will make you money. This is a business and the small things count. If you hope to gain followers, and build hubs and keep on making money your need to make a hub that lasts.
Of course this means you need to think about Google and Google AdSense and other affiliate programs and what they will do for you... provided you work and build you business, and mind you business. Also you will need to learn keyword research and SEO-- which means that you will need to learn Google AdWords or another keyword research tool.
In short the small things matter and so does building a business that fixes the small things quickly and efficiently. So what are the five small things that will make a difference between making say, $1 a day to making more than $15 dollars a day? or, to put it in easier terms, the difference between $30 a month or $450 dollars a month.
Fact money+ Adding Links
You want Money? You want it Fast? Add links.this is a simple step which is often either overlooked or worst yet complained that it doesn't work. It does work, but often people don't want to do it right. A link is anything that sends a person to another site. The more quality links that you have the better, the better the link the more traffic you will get the more money you will make.
Not all links are created equal so, if your hub is not on social networking sites, or you aren't as active as you could be on these sites, you need to go and build up a good link base there, the more people you know the more likely you will get traffic,
Beyond that, put links to your other hubs with in your hubs. Now, don't get overly promotional, but put them in. It is good business practice to build your links and to do it properly. Google and other search egines like links, so it is something you need to do.
This is a Business and you do what you need to do: Now, I love a lot of the people who come here, but one always makes me smile, so this little fix up is my way of helping him out, one Micky Dee, he likes my hubs ( I do hope!) but he has rightly pointed out that it does seem that you will make a lot of money with how to make money hubs. Micky, no you don't. In fact it is one of the hardest topics to make money on.
Why? Because everyone thinks you make money on making money hubs. So when you are competing with a couple million pages it is pretty hard to make money. Still, I am asked a lot on what makes or does not make money.
My writing hubs do. I love my writing and publishing hubs, and again, they are in a competitive niche, but they do make me more money. What you need to do is participate and love the topics you have and build links. That is the only way to make money. Micky is right, you can get a lot of traffic, but if your content is poor you won't make money.
Keywords and Keywords and Content: If you want to fix your hubs look at what you are writing. This is a business, and what you write makes a huge difference, the difference between getting a strong fan base and not having any thing to show for your writing.
See, a strong fan base on hubpages is great, and that can provide your business with traffic, but unless you want to keep building and do less work, you will need to think bigger, larger, and of course where your traffic is coming from. Also, you need to learn which keywords make you money and which keywords do not make money. Hub metrics can give you a rough idea how much potential there is in certain keywords. The more specific your keywords the more chance you will make money.
So, you will need Google AdWords, and a lot of knowledge about content and keywords. Every word you type is a keyword, but some keywords will NOT ever, make you money you envision, so learning about keywords is a must, and so is great content.
Learn SEO: this is a must, you can spend countless hours building hubs, hubs and more hubs, and have very little money to show for it, or you can spend countless hours learning about SEO (search engine optimization) and make a lot more money, which would you decide upon?
I have a lot of books on SEO since I found out how valuable it is to my business and to my bottom line, do not get me wrong, many many hub writers write great hubs, and they should be praised for their hubs, but again, they also probably put as much time into learning how to build these hubs as how to promote these hubs.
The business idea behind SEO is this: the more quality links you have built to your hubs, the better the chance it will be found by search engines, in higher pages, and the more likely you will get traffic to your hubs, as long as you have great quality content which builds on the keywords and content you have in these hubs.
The links you have inside your hubs are also vital, they need to be really great links that will help your hubs "grow" strong.
Which One Needs Work?
See results without votingKnow How much You Are Worth: We all have worth, we all are worth a lot of money, it is simply how you present your hubs that make or break you. Presentation is key. I mean if you want to maximize Google AdSense or any other affiliate program, the only way to do this is by using the preview button and "seeing" what others see in your hub.
So, when you look at your hubs, ask, is this really worth the gold I want it to be? Is it some thing I'd want others to read in say a year?
Hubpages are mini-websites, and they will stay around for a while building links, and building gold and silver for you, but they have to look worth it to people, they need some things in them to build upon the success and time you took to make them. SO how much are your worth?
How Much am I willing To Work A Week?
See results without votingThe Five Things To Fix Up.. or the Last Word-- Now this is something that might seem very general, and it is for several reasons, one we all know our business best, we all have our own personal passions which we want to create our business with.
Two, each business will have its own success in its own time, and you need to focus on these five things in your own business, and know what works for you, and what doesn't. Your business is your life and you need to make money, but if you offer quality than over time things will work out.
Three if you love what you do and take small steps you will see success from any point from where you are.
So, in this business the small things count, from links to SEO and keywords to content, and to simply knowing what you are worth to others on search engines and hubpages.
To your success.

Thanks for the great post..Interesting post
Beyond the basics what would you believe is key to money making sucess?
I really learned a lot from this Hub - and I still have a long way to go, that I can tell!
Bookmarked, of course.
Thanks again
Love and peace
Tony
Thanks again for a well-explained hub, Rebecca E. I'm learning a lot from you, and while it all seems totally overwhelming at first, the light of realisation is slowly dawning this side with regards to link building and SEO. I still have a lot to learn though.
You are so right that the competition is thick on this site, but I try to write about subjects that might interest myself and others.
I figure we all can't author help hubs, but maybe common interest hubs. Micky Dee is one of my favorites. I consider him not only a favorite, but a friend.
Needless to say I've learned much from the writers on this site and you, Rebecca E., are at the top of that list. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
One important point I always get from you hubs, Rebecca, is the length! I am sure many of mine are too short and I see a lot of hubs that suffer from this problem. Having said that, to make them longer needs to be done with thought so it doesn't just become boring padding and I can see you have mastered this art!
awsome hub thank you for sharing this very useful info! Best wishes and great day!
You continue to be my favorite 'resource' for information, Rebecca. Another hub beautifully presented.
Hello.. I still need to read some hubs like yours to be success in my business. Thanks for sharing.
Im still trying to figure this all out. Ill just keep reading great articals like this. Thanks for keeping it simple.
Thanks Rebecca
I need as much help as I can get, I try to spend at least 2.5 hours a day on Hubpages, 1 on linkbuilding, and usually 2 just reading other hubs about seo, linkbuilding and how to write better money making hubs. I especially enjoy reading your informative hubs.
Thank you Rebecca, if I had your mind, I would literally be dragging the cash in. Thanka again for a fantastic hub. Godspeed. creativeone59
Great hub with thoughtful comments. Keep them coming...
Hmmm, links. I´m going straight over to see what you've had to say about them in the past. Thanks Rebecca.
Another Gem Rebecca. There are some days when you just want to give up for its not going at the speed you like. I know there are day I wonde why am I even bothering. I then look back and realize I have come a long way and I see it as more half full than half empty. Then I keep chugging up the mountain of sucess.
Great hub and wonderful, perfect advice.
A really great hub, I voted 15 to 25 hours a week, I actually work way more than 50 :(
I'm new to Hubs and am just learning the ropes so this HUB was very helpful! There's a lot to learn! Thanks!
This is fantastic information here, keep guiding us to the pot of gold and we will worship you forever.
Great tips,thanks!
I am new and learning more each day - by reading great hubs like this one!
I've thoroughly enjoyed writing hubs and making a little money, but I am now teaching two university classes (for a lot more money than writing) so I guess I will continue writing hubs when I get some time.
It is easy to ignore the things you like least about online writing, but you are certainly correct--if you want to do well, you must pay attention to everything. It can be dull, but so can any other job--it is no less important because it is dull.
Another excellent and practical look at what we are doing here. Thanks again.
Mike
I broke one of your cardinal rules last weeke and deleted some hubs. Not sure why I did it. I really need to read up on SEO as I don't really understand it. Thanks for the hints.
Great hub with lots of information. You write really good hubs that help many writers.
Thank you Ms. Rebecca, your Hubs are very informative and I have always gained in traffic and searchablilty by reading your Hubs, and then acting upon that advice. Your taking time and effort to help others is another 'account' you are building and I know you will be rewarded handsomely. :0) Thanks again.
as always rebecca will be there to help me.
great info
god bless you
Helpful hub.One more thing is very important in my part that is good command over English. Many a time i think of making a hub on what i want to share with people but i cant as my writing skill is too poor to express what i exactly what to say.
I have no knowledge of SEO but seems like without it i cant even earn a penny.
I am also poor in key word selection and i have to emphasis on liking my hubs as well.i don't link my hubs yet.
Thnx for your advice.
