White Gold Jewelry is something that for many people they would like to own, it is available in many location and buying it is easy. White Gold is a much more forgiving jewelry than traditional gold jewelry, yet maintains the same elegance as the gold. Still, there is a preference for gold, but for those who adore silver and the look that it gives, but want a bit of a change, white gold is a good choice to add to their jewelry collection.
Unlike sliver jewelry, which will tarnish, white gold does not do this and can be a major factor when choosing to buy it over silver. Gold has a long history with people, most people quickly associate traditional god with riches and money. This is not true but it is the impression. White Gold and People Who Wear IT
One reason people like white gold: It is very simple to care for, unlike both gold and sliver. With Yellow gold, there is more care needed to keep it looking elegant and beautiful, as it is a single metal and not an alloy. It is also it is often more expensive to buy gold.
White gold, as it is an alloy tends to be better for every day use and is often just as elegant as gold. If you prefer silver to gold, but want some thing more elegant or an addition to your silver, white gold is a great choice for many consumers.
As it is gold, it also tends to be a bit more expansive than silver or sterling silver, but with careful choice, you can often find sets of white gold jewelry for a good price, for example I was able to find on amazon, a set of white gold necklace, earrings and a ring, all matching, which looks spectacular.
An Interesting Fact about White Gold: It is gold, but it is an alloy, which means that you will have another metal mixed in with the gold. Usually this is nickle or some time platinum. This is when knowing if you have allergies becomes important.
White gold is also measured in carats like the typical yellow gold, which is also measured in carets, the most common for both colours is 14K, which is strong and more durable than the higher carets of gold.
A small word of caution: Some people do experience minor rashes from white gold which has nickel as its alloy, but it is found only when the jewelry is worn over long periods of time. Most people find it is because of a sensitivity to the nickel used as part of the alloy of white gold.
I personally like silver jewelry, however, white gold does compliment many of my silver pieces nicely, and as a person who does like compliments, the addition of a few carefully chosen pieces has added to my collection nicely.
It is important ot care for you white gold, but unlike silver a simple dusting with a lint free cloth does wonders for it.

energyadvisor-- yes red gold is also fabulous, but I do like the white gold, I haven`t seen to much re gold here, Yellow gold des suit the darker skin tones, like it does the darker wardrobe colours.
I live in Suriname where there is only yellow/red gold. I must admit, I never even heard of with gold. Most people here have a dark brown skin color and the yellow/red gold really suits them well. I'm mixed, light brown, and I never thought yellow gold suited me well. So maybe I should try white gold. I really liked your article (vote up)
