Google AdSense Affiliate Program: Make Money, Writing and Hubpages
67Google AdSense... Making Money and Hubpages
Writing and Google AdSense. Money and Google. Google and Hubpages. Money and Writing. Google and Money. Hubpages and Money. Is there really a link between them all? I believe that there is. hubpages is a community with many people who write. It is also a community of people who want to make money. but there is one piece of the puzzle people tend to forget.
Google: the Business of the huge search engine and the affiliate program of AdSense.
I would say it's anything to do with search engines or search engine optimization SEO, but for this hub, I'll stick to relationships between these things. Yes, they affect you, and no, I don't believe in passive income, as yet. I'm just beginning to think of my published hubs as a part of my online business, so publish a blog and hubs I will. Passive income takes time and effort to build.
The thing about hubpages is that at some point things will level out for you and the work slows down, but the upside is that the older hubs start to make progress in the Google searches, provided that the writing is good and you've worked on the keywords and basic SEO-- this is a time factor and you will need to use Google AdWords.
Then the passive income begins. Making money is like that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It does take time making money, but I've broken it down to the three linking parts.
Writing and Google: So you want to make some money do you? in this case, you need to write. The other thing is you need to write well, and you need to want to write better. Yes I know some will argue that I have way too many hubs, but the fact of the matter is that these hubs took time to do. A lot of time.
With Writing you can do almost anything but that doesn't mean that google will allow for it to top their search engines-- sorry. It does take time and hard work, and a bit of luck to get things done.
The content must be there, but also what you write must be search-able, and keyword friendly. Google will find almost anything, but the more obscure the keywords are the worse it can be. There is also the fine art of "being a small fish in a big ocean." Thisi s also known as traffic. If the writing is good the traffic will come.
Sure, you can go to Google AdWords to gain a rough outline of how much you can make per keyword or per phrase, but the higher the money the less likely you'll make a lot, on the flip side the choice of obscure keywords means that people won't think of it when typing it on google, or any other search engine for that matter.
This shouldn't be the reason to write though. It really shouldn't, as many people can see what you are writing and, more importantly why. If you don't want to help others, or aren't thinking of what the need for people to read anything you write is, well you can forget about keywords, and passive income, and making money this instant. That includes search engine optimization and busines and everything else.
Write what you know, write it well, and google will eventually find you. Which will in the end bring you some money.
Money and Google: Yes, that is what it generally boils down to. When you write, you tend to expect some sort of money in return. Google offers this through Google AdSense. To make money or continue making money with google, you need to understand a thing or eight about money and Google.
There are so many ways to make money online but there are really only about three or four that seem to work for me.
Google AdSense: You need to have either a blog with content, or a hub or three, and it takes about a week for the AdSense to approve or deny your application. The idea is that people will go to your site, read the content and potentially click on a link. One thing before you go running to AdSense. The Stats: only about 25% of people who have and AdSense account make $100 per month each month. So earnings might be slow, but they will accumulate as you learn. One of the best books about Google AdSense: Google AdSense for Dummies.
When writing a blog: it needs to be done often, as in each day or more, otherwise, this affects your google rating. Same idea with hubs, write and keep writing. The search engines love this. So do your readers, you stop they stop. And get a personal library of books about Google and search engine optimization.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO): You need to understand this. It is a must, similar to a supermarket, your website or blog or hub is rated, and then placed in a sort of rank. Google does a top ten first page similar to Yahoo and MSN. fact is that most people don't go beyond that page. If your website isn't close to the top with a few known phrases your out of luck. This is a bit of a complex subject but it is something you need to learn the basics of. My recommended book: The Art of SEO and Building Findable Websites.
Hubpages and Google:Let's begin with the basics, you write a hub and at some point google will find it and rate and put it in its search engine. It might take a while to rise up the ranks but people will find it.
Hubpages itself helps a lot as well. It does have its own page rank, which is 4 according to most on hubpages. Now the higher the page rank score the better you will be able to find something from a website on google. Most blogs and websites have a PageRank which is lower than that. (highest is ten, and lowest is N/A or 0)
So a hub on hubpages does have some help, but it's up to you to get the links and traffic you need to get on the first pages of hubpages. Keywords, good content and a lot of traffic helps a lot in this case, and a bit of luck. Just keep writing hubs and linking between them within the guidelines, and make comments and participate on hubpages. This will help your author score, and your hub score and everything else, and in the end hubpages will notice this and will potentially reward your efforts.
It takes time.
Google is linked to these three things: Money, Writing and Hubpages, but in different ways, and with different parts of the puzzle in place you will find yourself with more good hubs, and you will be making money on hubpages.

Hi there. Thanks for this useful hub. I just joined yesterday and am getting to know the whole hubbing process, reading different hubs and trying to find out about how it all works. I haven't hubbed yet, but I will soon. See you around :-). Mý Huê
very useful information I can't wait to start putting it to use.
Well, Rebecca, if I keep reading articles like yours, maybe I will! Thanks!
Great job on this and even though experienced I do have to say I appreciate the refresher. :)
I read so much about key word optimization and all that stuff, then go on and write hubs paying absolutely no attention to any of the advise. I figure if I read enough articles like yours, maybe it will sink in, haha!
Very helpful. Please keep up the good work.
I agree with the whole quality arguement, there's a danger that some articles on the web aren't as appealing as others. But then that forces writers down another dangerous path - writing anything out of pure desperation! LOL! great Hub!
Another one of your fine hubs to bookmark - always worth reading I learn new things all the time from your hubs.
Another Hub to be bookmarked... Thanks Rebecca for the share...

Among a host of several other things, you should know how to get on the first page of Hottest Hubs, Rebecca. A few times, I've seen you with 3 or 4 hubs on just the first page! Whatever you're doing, you're doing it well. Wonderful work as usual.
If I don't hear from you, I hope that you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
You are the advice guru, girl!
